Preston & Blackpool Cat Club Show 2006

Michele Linton of Siarung Siamese very kindly has provided Siamese Planet with the results and some pictures from the Preston & Blackpool show 2006. Michele said of the day:

"Unfortunately the weather was rather unkind to all and not the usual bright sunny days we have been lucky to have at previous P & B Shows.  Such a pity on this the 40th Championship Show but nevertheless the entry was up by 33 cats on last year which must have put a smile on the face of all concerned with the Show.A lovely Anniversary cake had been provided to mark the occasion and judging was stopped for a few minutes so all could have a nibble and a dinky poor too!

On a more sombre note mention was made regards the sad passing of Norman Webb committee member who shall be sorely missed not just by the committee but by all who knew him - sympathies go to Sheila and family. Congratulations to Sylvia Gibbons on Richdale Salaam becoming a Grand Premier.

Just a word of warning to all exhibitors please be careful when filling out entry forms. Take a photocopy and check it before the show with a fresh eye and check the Show catalogue as well before leaving the hall it is so easy to make a mistake on entry forms and not notice especially if entering more than one cat and notify the Show Manager ASAP so any potential changes can be made.
