Our Roving Reporters Caroline Studer and Lynne Studer of Mylynn Siamese attended the Somerset Cat Club Show on Saturday. Caroline showed Midamyst Ivegotyoubabe, a black Oriental and had a red card day!! Lynne showed Mylynn Milliondollarbaby winning Best Of Variety Siamese Kitten. Caroline said of the day:

On Saturday the 4th of june my mum and I travelled up to Thornbury to the Somerset show. It was a great day out, the parking was good and not too far to walk to the hall. We got a bottle of cava and some sundry items on vetting in. The show was well organised with enough vets to make a smooth and easy entry, and with town only a few minutes walk away the location was superb. There were lots of nice stalls in the hall, and there was a nice bar and a cafe with good food, but as usual with the number of people attending, there was limited seating. The rosettes were of top quality and the judges did well to ensure the results came out quickly, and we were lucky enough to win the best in show and best of variety and were given an enormous amount of biscuits which are always well received. All in all ten out of ten for location, atmosphere and organisation.
